Institute Of Bioresources And Sustainable Development (IBSD) January 2019 :- Applications are invited for Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development (IBSD)-Sr. Accounts Officer /Stenographer/Scientist-E. Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development (IBSD) is one of the autonomous institutes under the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India.
The objective of the institute is to develop and utilize the rich bioresources of the North-Eastern Region of the country through the application of modern tools of biology and biotechnology. The institute is a premier research institute in this region with state-of-art modern research facility and infrastructure. The Institute has it’s headquartered in Manipur and has a physical presence in Meghalaya, Sikkim, and Mizoram. The institute invites application for the following posts.
1/ Name of the post : Scientist-E (One): (Microbiology/ Molecular Biology)
Salary : Pay Matrix of Rs. 123100-215900/- (Level -13)
Essential Qualification: 1st class M.Sc. in Microbiology/ Molecular Biology/ Botany/ Zoology/ Life Science/ Modern Biology or equivalent and in related areas with specialization in above areas from a recognized university/institute with at least eleven years of research experience or PhD in the above subjects/area with at least 8 (eight) years of research experience.
Desirable: Research experience in the area of Microbiology/Molecular Biology/Modern biology
with a strong track record of scientific publications. A person should be capable of carrying out
independent research with the potential of securing and sustaining independent and collaborative
extramural funding to fulfill the mandate of the institute. Experience in bioinformatics will be an
advantage.
2/ Name of the post : Sr. Accounts Officer (One)
Salary : Pay Matrix of Rs. 56100-177500/- (Level -10)
Essential Qualification:
Graduate/ M.Com/ MBA with minimum 4 years experience in a government research institute.
3/ Name of the post : Stenographer (One)
Salary : Pay Matrix of Rs. 19900-63200/- (Level -2)
Essential Qualification:
Graduate in any stream with computer knowledge of word processing.
Desirable:
Working experience with computer application and office Management experience/skills.
