Meghalaya Institute Of Entrepreneurship Recruitment 2019 January :- In pursuance of Government Notification No. AGRI (E)9/2018/40 dated 5th November 2018 and on behalf of the Directorate of Food Processing (DFP), Government of Meghalaya, the Meghalaya Institute of Entrepreneurship (MIE), Government of Meghalaya invites applications in prescribed format from qualified and interested professionals who are permanent residents of Meghalaya for the following posts in the Directorate of Food Processing, Government of Meghalaya. Details of the recruitment can be found below.
1/ Name of the post :- Technical Associate Level- 1
No of posts:- 1 (One)
Emoluments:- Rs. 30,000/- per month.
Essential Qualification:- Candidates must have Bachelor Degree in Food Science and Technology/ Food Engineering/ Post Harvest Technology with minimum 55% marks with Post Graduate Degree in Food Science and Technology/ Food Engineering/ Post Harvest Technology with minimum 55% marks.
Experience:- 3 years in relevant field.
2/ Name of the post :- Technical Associate Level- 2
No of posts:- 2 (Two)
Emoluments:- Rs. 25,000/- per month.
Essential Qualification:- Candidate must have Bachelor Degree in Food Science and Technology/ Food Engineering/ Post Harvest Technology with minimum 55% marks with Post Graduate Degree in Food Science and Technology/ Food Engineering/ Post Harvest Technology with minimum 55% marks.
Experience :- 2 years in relevant field.
3/ Name of the post :- Technical Associate Level- 3
No of posts:- 2 (Two)
Emoluments:- Rs. 20,000/- per month.
Essential Qualification:- Candidate must have Bachelor Degree in Food Science and Technology/ Food Engineering/ Post Harvest Technology with minimum 55% marks.
Experience :- Nill
Age limit:- Maximum age limit is 35 years. A relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit will be given to persons with disability (PWD) / Differently abled persons / SC/ST candidates as per Government rules.

Interested and eligible candidates are to fill and sign the prescribed application form accompanied by self-attested photocopies of all relevant documents, certificates and mark sheets from HSLC onwards and submit it on or before the 10th January 2019.
Terms and Conditions:
1. The offer of appointment is open to permanent residents of Meghalaya only.
2. The appointment is purely on contractual basis for a period of one year which may be further extended based on performance.
3. Maximum age limit is 35 years. A relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit will be given to persons with disability (PWD) / Differently abled persons / SC/ST candidates as per Government rules.
4. Candidates are to fill and sign the application form attached herewith as completely as possible, accompanied by self attested photocopies of all relevant documents, certificates and mark sheets from HSLC onwards and submit it on or before the 10th January 2019. 5. Post submission eligible candidates will be called for an interview on a date and time which will be published on the website of the MIE at http://www.mieshillong.org/. Only short listed candidates will be called for the interview.
6. No TA/DA and official accommodation will be provided for appearing in the interview
7. Candidates are to bring a copy of the application form, relevant certificates, mark sheets etc in original for verification on the day of interview.
8. A recent passport size photograph should be affixed on top of the application. Candidate are to also bring 2 (two) copies of their photograph on the day of interview.
9. All eligible candidates are required to be present 30 minutes before the scheduled time on the date of interview for completion of necessary formalities. Candidates who do not fulfill eligibility conditions or who report after the scheduled time will not be considered for the interview.
10. For the post of Technical Associate (Level 1) preference will be given to persons holding Doctorate Degree and / or high quality published research work with evidence of writing the technical reports.
11. Qualification, Experience and Upper age limit may be relaxed for the deserving candidates.
12. Selected candidates should be ready to travel and serve anywhere in the State and are to sign an undertaking to that effect.
13. The number of vacancies may increase or decrease. The MIE reserves the right to cancel the above advertisement for any of the above mentioned post(s), without assigning any reason thereto.
