Educational Qualification : Candidates must fulfill the following -
a) Class VIII examination passed from a recognized board.
b)The applicant should possess a valid Driving License for Light Motor Vehicle (T/NT) category of vehicle issued by the Motor Vehicle Division as specified in the Central Motor Vehicle Act, 1988 (T/NT) with at least 3 years of driving experience.
c) Candidate must be in possession of either Sikkim Subject Certificate or identification Certificate (COI) issued by the competent authority under relevant orders of the State Government.
d) Should have knowledge of any of the State Languages viz. Nepali, Slkklmese Bhutia, Lepcha and Limboo. (
e) Should have valid Local Employment Card issued by the appropriate authority of the Government of Sikkim.
f) Caste Category Certificate.
g) No Objection Certificate from the Appointing Authority/Head of Department In case of employed candidates.
Age Limit : Candidate's should have attained the age of 18 years, but should not have exceeded 40 years as on 30.09.2019 vide Notification No.M(3)/(SS)/GEN/DOP/PT.-Ill dated: 03.07.2017.

The application form should be obtained from the Head Office of Cooperation Department, Sahakari Bhawan, Room No.2 on production of original Bank Receipt (BR) for Rs.100/- of State Bank of Sikkim credited to "0425" Coop "800" - Other Receipts w.e.f. 23.09.2019 to 21.10.2019 on any working days between 10:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
The complete filled-in application form accompanied by attested copies of all the required documents should reach the office of the Deputy Registrar (HQ), Room No.5, Cooperation Department,Sikkim on or before 25th October, 2019.
Candidates must submit their applications (in the prescribed format) along with the attested copies of the following documents:
1. Marksheet & Certificate of Class VIII Passed
2. Sikkim Subject Certificate/Certificate of Identification
3. Valid Local Employment Card
4. Caste Category Certificate (MBC-State List/Weaker Sections of the Society)
5. Valid Driving License
6. Departmental NOC, in case of employed candidates.
7. One stamp size photograph should be affixed on the application form in the space provided and one identical stamp size photograph should be submitted along with the application form.
8. Before filling the application form, candidate should go through the advertisement and accordingly they should fill the forms. Candidate should categorically specify the categories to which he/she belongs in the box provided in the application form.

1. Daily Routine and check up the vehicle before starting Engine.
2. Should have the knowledge of the various components and important Assemblies of Engine/Gear box etc.
3. Daily writing of Vehicle log book.
4. Should have the knowledge to differentiate between petrol and diesel engine.
5. Knowledge on Traffic signal and rules.
PART B
1. General Knowledge of State and National Importance.
2. Letter writing.
Viva-Voce and Driving test In presence of officer from Motor Vehicle Division, Transport Department: Candidates who will qualify in the written examination shall be interviewed by the Cooperation Department who will have before them the record of their career and educational qualification. They will be asked questions on general Interest, current affairs and basic questions on vehicle.
i) No application form submitted after 4:00 p.m. on 25th October, 2019 will be accepted.
ii) The date and venue of the Written Examination will be published in local daily/communicated later on.
iii) The amount so deposited shall not be refunded or adjusted against any other purpose.
iv) Application received after last date and also incomplete application forms without required documents will be summarily rejected.
v) The decision of the Cooperation Department Government of Sikkim, as to the eligibility of a candidate for admission to the examination shall be final.
