Pay Scale : Rs. 62,400-1,23,100/- PM (Level-18) plus usual allowances as admissible under the rule in force.
Eligibility Criteria :
Applicants must fulfill the following
i) Candidate must be a bonafide Citizen of India belonging to the Scheduled Tribe Community of the State of Meghalaya, who can read and write Khasi Language and well acquainted with the Khasi Customs.
ii) A candidate should at the time of application be not less than 25 years and not more than 37 years of age.
iii) He or She should be a Law Graduate or Degree with a minimum of five years practical experience as Advocate in the Court of law.
Interested and qualified Candidates need to apply with prescribed application form. Application completed in all respects with attested copies of certificate, two passport size photographs and a self addressed envelope accompanied with a fee of 500/- to be deposited in to the Accounts of the Council at Meghalaya Rural Bank, Iewduh Branch (non-refundable) and should be submitted to the following address.

Candidates are required to clearly indicate both the division and percentage of marks in the application form.

a. Shortlisted applicants need to appear for written examination (in two Papers of 100 marks each).
b. Candidate who obtained a minimum of 60 marks in each Paper shall qualify for appearance in the personal interview which shall be shortlisted of the Top Twenty Candidates for Personal Interview for a total of 50 marks.
