1. Name of the post: Stenographer-Grade III
No. of posts : 01
Required Qualification : Candidate must be a Graduate in Arts/ Science/ Commerce from any recognized university. Diploma holder in shorthand and typing speed with 45 words/minute. Preference will be given to candidates having Computer knowledge, Short hand writing and typing speed
Salary : Pay Level-8 (as per pay matrix, Govt. of Meghalaya)
2. Name of the post: Lower Division Asstt.- Cum Typist
No. of posts : 02
Required Qualification : Candidate must be a Graduate in Arts/ Science/ Commerce from any recognized university, with 45 words per minute in typing. Good Knowledge of English and Proficiency local language.
Salary : Pay Level-5 (as per pay matrix, Govt. of Meghalaya)
3. Name of the post: Lower Division Asstt.- Bench Assistant
No. of posts : 03
Required Qualification : Candidate must be a Graduate in Arts/ Science/ Commerce from any recognized university, with 45 words per minute in typing. Good Knowledge of English and Proficiency in language.
Salary : Pay Level-5 (as per pay matrix, Govt. of Meghalaya)
4. Name of the post: Assistant Librarian
No. of posts : 01
Required Qualification : Candidate should have passed B.Lib in library science from any recognized University in India. Preference will be given to candidates with a B.lib certificate and Computer Knowledge.
Salary : Pay Level-11 (as per pay matrix, Govt. of Meghalaya)
Age Criteria : 18- 32 years as of the date of advertisement upper age limit is relaxable by 5 (five) years in respect of SC/ST candidates. No age limit for the candidates who are already in Govt. service.

Application Fee :
a) A candidate for direct recruitment shall pay examination fees of Rs. 300/- (Rupees three hundred only) in the form of a Demand Draft payable to “The Registrar General, High Court of Meghalaya, Shillong”.
b) SC/ST/OBC candidates shall be charged with examination fees of Rs. 150/ (One Hundred and fifty only).
c) Application fee is exempted for the disabled subject to the furnishing of a disability certificate.
