District and gender wise vacancy :
i) North Tripura District (Dharmanagar): Male member-1 & Female member-1.
ii) South Tripura District (Belonia) : Male member-1 & Female member-1.
iii) Khowai District (Khowai) : Male member-1 & Female member-1.
Eligibility criteria : Candidate must fulfill the following criteria and educational qualification.
Applicant must possess a bachelor's degree from a recognized university and is a persons of ability, integrity and standing, and having special knowledge and professional experience of not less than 15 (fifteen) years in consumer affairs, law, public affairs, administration, economics., commerce, industry, finance, management, engineering, technology, public health or medicine.
Age Limit : Applicant age must not be not less than 40 years.
Salary : The person so engaged shall be entitled to receive sitting fee @ Rs. 3,000/- per day of sitting.
Tenure of Appointment : The appointment will be made on part time basis for a term of 4 years or up to the age of 65 years whichever is earlier on the basis of personal interview and recommendation of Selection Committee man-dated in the concerned Rules.
