Eligibility criteria : Candidate must fulfill the following criteria and educational qualification.
Essential: A Bachelor Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture from recognized University/ Institution.
Desirable:
i) Knowledge of Agro-climatic condition of Tripura.
ii) Knowledge of Bengali or Kokborok.

Age Limit : 40 years as on 09-01-2023. Upper age is relaxable by 5 years in case of ST/SC candidates, Govt. servants and other categories as specified by the State Government from time to time. The Govt. Employees belonging to ST/SC/Other categories shall not get this relaxation over and above the general relaxation of five (5) years available to them.
Salary / Pay Scale : Rs.10,230-34,800/- with GP Rs.4,800/- and pay level 13 of Tripura State Pay Matrix, 2018.

Online application portal will be available from 09-12-2022 to 09-01-2023 (5:30 PM).
Before applying for the post, an applicant shall register his/her bio- data particulars through One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) on the Commission's Website viz. www.tpsconline.in or through the link provided in www.tpsc.tripura.gov.in.
Once applicant registers his/her particulars, a User ID is generated and sent to his/her registered mobile number and email ID. Applicants need to apply for the post using the OTPR User ID through Commission's website.
Mode of Selection for TPSC Agriculture Officer Recruitment 2022
Selection Procedure: The selection procedure will be governed as per No. F.2(326)-Agri/Esst/09-10/Part/I/13284-359, dated 29.01.2021 of the notified scheduled of the post of Agriculture Officer, Gr-I, Group-B Gazetted.
Scheme of Examination: The selection process will comprise of two successive stages viz.
i) Written examination of 180 marks (Multi choice type test).
ii) Interview/Personality test for 20 marks.
Application fee for TPSC Agriculture Officer Recruitment 2022
- Group-A Gazetted posts: Rs.350/- (Rupees three hundred & fifty) only for General Candidates and Rs.250/- (Rupees two hundred and fifty) only for ST/SC/BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates. Recruitment fee so deposited is non-refundable.
Note : SC/ST candidates of other States (not recognized by the Govt. of Tripura) should apply for unreserved vacancy as general candidate along with recruitment fee prescribed for general candidates. Recruitment fee so deposited, is non-refundable.
