Eligibility criteria : Candidate must fulfill the following criteria and educational qualification.
a) Academic Qualification : In accordance with the TEQ Regulation of NMC, 2022 adopted for the Institutes of Super Specialty during transition period. A Post - doctoral qualification DM/M.Ch/DNB equated to DM/ M.Ch-(for disciplines under the super Specialties group as per Teachers Eligibility Qualifications (TEQ) Medical Institutions Regulations, 2022 of NMC in the concerned subject and as amended by NMC from time to time.
b) Teaching & Research Experience : In accordance with the TEQ Regulation of NMC,2022 adopted for the Institutes of Super Specialty during transition period.
1) Assistant Professor for two years in the concerned subject from a permitted/ recognized medical college/ institution.
2) Special training for three years in the respective Super Specialty subject in a teaching Institution / Centre of Excellence with dedicated service in that specialty.
3) Should have at least Two Research publications ( at least two as Assistant. Professor)(only original papers, meta-analysis, systematic reviews and case series that are published in journals included in Medline, Pubmed, Central Science Citation Index, Science Citation Index, Expanded Embase, Scopus, Directory of Open Access Journals (DoAJ will be considered).
4) Should have completed the NMC recognized basic course in Medical Education Technology.
5) Should have completed the basic course in Biomedical Research from Institutions designated by NMC. And as amended by NMC from time to time.
c) Desirable : Knowledge in Bengali or Kok-borok.
Age : Upper Age limit is 50 years as on 08/02/2023. Relaxable by 5(five) years in case of SC,ST,PH/PWD candidates and Government servants candidates as per TME(Administrative & Faculty) Service Regulation Rules, 2015 However, the SC/ST/Govt. Servant will not get the further relaxation of 5(five) years over and above relaxation of 5(five) years which they are already entitled to get as SC/ST candidates.
* In pursuance of GA(P&T) Department memo No. F.23 (11)/ -GA(P&T)/ 2022 dated 11.07.2022 2(two) years age relaxation in upper age limit for all categories of candidates for direct recruitment in Govt. departments & PSUs. due to Covid - pandemic .
