Post Name : Assistant
No of Posts : 450 [UR: 241, SC: 45, ST: 56, OBC: 71, EWS: 37]
Guwahati Office Vacancy : 26 [which also includes 02 vacancies for Agartala, 03 for Aizwal, 03 for Shillong and 01 for Imphal.]
Pay Scale: Basic pay of ₹20,700/- per month in the scale of ₹20700 – 1200 (3) – 24300 – 1440 (4) - 30060 – 1920 (6) – 41580 – 2080 (2) – 45740 – 2370 (3) – 52850 – 2850 (1) – 55700 and other allowances, as admissible from time to time.
Age Limit: Not below 20 years and not above 28 years. Candidates must have been born not later than 01.09.2003 and not earlier than 02.09.1995 (both days inclusive).
Age Relaxation : The category-wise age relaxation is as follows:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
- PwBD (OBC/NCL): 13 years
- PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
Eligibility Criteria : Applicant must have completed Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in the aggregate and the knowledge of word processing on PC.
Local Language Proficiency : Candidates applying for post in a particular recruiting Office should be proficient in the language (i.e., know to read, write, speak and understand the language) of the state/ any of the states falling under the recruiting Office.
Application Fee: Category-wise application fee is as mentioned below
- UR/EWS/OBC- Rs 450/-plus 18% GST
- SC/ST/PWD/EXS - Rs 50/-plus 18% GST
Mode of Selection:
Selection will be through Preliminary examination, Main examination and Language Proficiency Test
(LPT).
