High Court of Sikkim Job Vacancy 2024 (May) - Full Details
1. Post Name : Upper Division Assistant-cum-Accounts Clerk
No of Posts : 01
Salary: Pay Level-9 Group 'C'
Eligibility Criteria: Applicant must fulfill the following qualification and criteria.
Candidates having Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or Mathematics or Accounts and preferably holding a Master’s degree in those subjects and / or a professional qualification of a Chartered Accountant or its equivalent.
2. Post Name : Lower Division Assistant-cum-Accounts Clerk
No of Posts : 02
Salary: Pay Level-7 Group 'C'
Eligibility Criteria: Applicant must fulfill the following qualification and criteria.
Candidates having Bachelors’ degree from a recognized University with diploma in Computer and having knowledge in Financial Accounting from any Computer Centre and having knowledge of typewriting at a minimum speed of 40 w.p.m.
3. Post Name : Office Attendant
No of Posts : 01
Salary: Pay Level-4 Group 'D'
Eligibility Criteria: Applicant must fulfill the following qualification and criteria.
Candidates having minimum Class VIII passed from a recognized School/Board.
Other Essential Criteria common for all the posts :
A candidate for appointment to the above posts must be:-
i) a citizen of India; Provided that no person-
(a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living or
(b)who having a spouse living has entered into or contracted marriage with another person shall be eligible for appointment as officer or staff of the High Court
ii) Age not less than 18 years of age as on the first day of January of the recruitment year i.e., 01.01.2024 and not more than 40 years of age on the last day of submission of Application Form, which shall be uniform age for all communities of the State in the services/posts to be filled up by direct recruitment. Relaxation of upper age limit shall be the same as may be prescribed by the State Government from time to time.
iii) In-service employees of the High Court will be entitled for age relaxation up to 5 years for the post to be filled by direct recruitment.
Selection Process
For UDA-cum-Accounts Clerk and LDA-cum-Accounts Clerk posts
Only those candidates found eligible on preliminary scrutiny shall be called for Written Examination. This list of candidates whose applications are accepted for taking the examination shall be uploaded in the official website of High Court of Sikkim and published in local dailies.
The examinations for the concerned vacant post will be held in the following manner viz., Written Examination, followed by Interview/viva-voce. Candidates securing 40% and above in the Written Examination shall only be eligible for appearing in the Interview/viva-voce. Final selection will be made on the basis of the combined marks secured by the candidates in the Written Examinations and Interview/viva-voce. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of over-all performance of the candidates. The final merit list will be uploaded in the official website of High Court of Sikkim as well as affixed on the Notice Boards of High Court of Sikkim.
For Office Attendant post
Only those candidates found eligible on preliminary scrutiny shall be called for appearing in the interview/viva-voce. The final merit list will be uploaded in the official website of High Court of Sikkim as well as affixed on the Notice Boards of High Court of Sikkim.
This list of candidates whose applications are accepted for taking the examination shall be uploaded in the official website of High Court of Sikkim and published in local dailies.
How to apply for High Court of Sikkim Recruitment 2024 (May) - 04 posts
Candidates fulfilling the above conditions may apply for the post by submitting an application in the prescribed form attached in the Employment Notice which is available in the website of the High Court of Sikkim i.e. https://hcs.gov.in or may download from the important link section below.
The applicant shall submit any one of the following documents as proof of their citizenship:-
i) Birth Certificate; or
ii) Passport; or
iii) Certificate of Identification (only in case of Sikkim subjects); or
iv) Valid Voters’ Identity Card issued by the Election Commission of India.
The candidates shall submit the prescribed form along with all supporting documents, duly attested/self attested, as the case may be in person to the Office of the Registrar General during the working hours. The candidates may also send their form through Registered post/Speed post addressed to the Registrar General, High Court of Sikkim, Gangtok- 737101.
The last date for receipt of applications is 27.05.2024.
Applicants shall submit separate forms for separate posts.
