MBDA Meghalaya Job Vacancy 2024 (October) - Full Details
1) Post Name: Manager – Civil Engineer
No. of Posts: 01
Place of Posting : Shillong
Eligibility Criteria:
Desired Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering offered by a
University recognized by the UGC or an associate membership/similar
qualification obtained from a recognized professional institution in the field
of civil engineering.
Desired Experience: Minimum 04 years of post-qualification experience
at supervision of construction work and structural design. Preference will
be given to those having experience in the relevant field of civil works in
the Rural Development sector.
Essential Skills:
- Experience in contract management, preparation of estimates, civil works bills and measurement books.
- Good Command of computer programs and applications.
- Demonstrated strong values and professional integrity.
- Preparation of Designs.
Requirement:
- Ability to maintain a calm and positive attitude and to work productively with heavy workloads, competing priorities, complex problems and tight guidelines.
- Ability to work in rural areas and travel extensively.
Pay Scale: Rs. 39,000/-
Age Limit: Upto 45 years.
2) Post Name: Programme Associate – Project Management

Place of Posting : Shillong, CMU (Ganol & Umiew)
Eligibility Criteria:
Desired Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
Desired Experience: Minimum 01 year of post-qualification experience in project management/rural development/working with external aided projects.
Essential Skills:
- Good written and communication skills.
- Good Command of computer programs and applications.
- Demonstrated strong values and professional integrity.
- Preparation of Designs .
Requirement:
- Ability to maintain a calm and positive attitude and to work productively with heavy workloads, competing priorities, complex problems and tight guidelines.
- Ability to work in rural areas and travel extensively.
Pay Scale: Rs. 22,100/-
Age Limit: Upto 45 years.
Essential Skills for the positions: Good written and verbal communication. Expert in basic computer knowledge like Word Processing, Spread Sheets and Power Point Presentation, etc are the common essential skills requirement. Other skills required are mentioned above against each position.
Selection Process: A Cover Letter on candidate’s suitability and interest in the position (maximum 500 words) is mandatory for the position application failing which the applications will be rejected. There will be written/assignment and personal interview for the positions. Written test will comprise of Subject Matter Knowledge, General Knowledge, Reasoning, and English. The Written Test/ Personal Interview will be held only in Shillong.
