Post Name: School Librarian
No. of Posts: 125 [UR: 65, SC: 21 & ST: 39]
Pay: Rs. 20,475/-(revised) fixed per month being 75 % of basic pay [Level-9) of Tripura State Pay Matrix, 201,8, Group-C [Non Gazetted]
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must have Bachelor Degree in Library Science from a recognized University OR must be a Graduate with one year Diploma in Library Science from any recognized institution.
- Desirable: Having knowledge of Bengali or Kokborok.
Age Limit: Up to 40 years as on 06.12.2024. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST/PH.
Selection Procedure for TRB Tripura Recruitment 2024 (Nov)
Applicants need to appear in "Selection Test for School Librarian (STSL) - 2024" and selection will be done on the basis of Mark obtained in the test subject to scrutiny of certificates/documents/ Mark Sheets and correctness of information given by the candidates in the online application form. Minimum 50% marks [75 out of 150) are to be obtained in the test with 5%o relaxation [68 out of 150) for SC/ST/PH candidates. Depending upon number of vacant post, candidates will be recommended for recruitment as per merit. Thus all candidates obtained minimum mark [75 or 68, as applicable] or more may not be recommended for recruitment as recommendation depends on the numbers of vacant post as mentioned in the notification. Securing minimum mark [75 or 68, as applicable) or more does not confer any right to any candidate for recruitment.

Test Fees for TRB Tripura Recruitment 2024 (November)
The test fees for UR category applicant are Rs.300/ (Rupees three hundred only) and for reserved category (SC/ST/PH) applicant is Rs. 200/- (Rupees two hundred only). Candidates need to deposit test fees online (using debit or credit card & internet banking only). No other mode of payment will be accepted.
How to apply for TRB Tripura Recruitment 2024 (October) - 125 Posts
Interested and eligible candidates may apply online through the Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB), Tripura's Official website trb.tripura.gov.in from 26th November, 2024 to 06th December 2024.
The application process involves the following steps:
- Refer: Check the TRB 2024 Notification PDF from below.
- Apply Online: Log on to TRBT's official website www.trb.tripura.gov.in and click on 'Apply Online' link. You will be directed to the registration page.
- Candidates are to enter the required information such as name, DOB, email ID, Phone Number etc., and get themselves registered. Note down the Registration Number for future reference,
- After login update your profile by entering all relevant information as per the online application form correctly.
- Upload clear image of your recent passport size photograph [as enumerated in 'How to apply' section in the registration page and full signature. The image of photograph must be clear enough so that the applicant can be recognized by seeing the photograph. The image of full signature must also be clear and legible.
- Candidate can apply for "selection Test for School Librarian (STSL) - 2024" from 'Apply Online' link of candidate's homepage.
- In candidate's homepage, for School Librarian please click on "Apply Online" link with respect to "selection Test for School Librarian (STSL) - 2024" Select eligibility criteria from drop down list. All particulars regarding academic and professional qualifications must be entered correctly.
- Submit the form after entering all the information correctly. Finalize the application if all information is entered correctly. If any rectification is required click on "Edit Application" link in candidate's homepage. Once finalized the application form can no more be edited. So before finalization make sure that all information entered are correct.
- Make payment from the link provided in the home page of applicant. Payment can be done through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ internet Banking facility of any leading bank. Information/PlN/Password etc,, of Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Internet Banking must not be shared with others for making payment and TRBT will not be responsible for any fraudulent transaction due to such information sharing.
- After successful payment print the Acknowledgement Page and preserve it for future reference.
- Print Form: Take a printout of the filled application form for future reference.
